En la 33ª edición del Festival Internacional de Cine de Valdivia, que se se realizará del 12 y al 18 de octubre, se proyectarán películas de Dominga Sotomayor (La perra), Cristián Sánchez (La tierra invisible), Cristóbal León y Joaquín Cociña (Princesa Burro), Valeria Sarmiento (Detrás de la lluvia) y Sergio Castro San Martín (Il Cileno), entre otros.

Catedrales, transposición de la novela de Claudia Piñeiro dirigida por Fabiana Tiscornia y Pepa San Martín y protagonizada por Alfredo Castro y Paulina García, es una de las novedades del mes en el servicio de streaming del grupo Amazon.
Cautiva, serie escrita por Paula Hernández, dirigida por Jazmín Stuart y protagonizada por Carolina Kopelioff, Lorena Vega, Rita Cortese, Julieta Zylberberg, Valeria Lois, Justina Bustos y Luis Ziembrowski, es la principal apuesta nacional del mes en el servicio de streaming.
