Premios Oscar 2020: El cine latinoamericano quedó fuera de la lucha por la estatuilla a Mejor Película Internacional

La producción coreana Parasite y la senegalesa Atlantics son las únicas no europeas entre las 10 finalistas, que incluyen a la española Dolor y gloria y a la francesa Les Misérables.

La Academia de Hollywood dio a conocer las shortlists de 9 categorías. Del 2 al 7 de enero se realizará la votación de sus miembros y el 13 de enero se anunciarán todas las nominaciones.
