Gotham Awards: The Hurt Locker fue la gran ganadora

La historia bélica realizada por Kathryn Bigelow ganó los premios a mejor película y a mejor elenco (foto), mientras que la chilena Catalina Saavedra fue distinguida como intérprete revelación por La nana. Por su parte, el musical Nine encabezó las nominaciones a los premios Satellite.

Durante la 19ª entrega de los Gotham Independent Film Awards que se realizó este lunes 30 de noviembre en el Cipriani Wall Street del Lower Manhattan se entregaron los siguientes premios:

Mejor película: 
The Hurt Locker - Kathryn Bigelow, directora; Kathryn Bigelow, Mark Boal, Nicolas Chartier, Greg Shapiro, productores (Summit Entertainment).

Mejor documental: 
Food, Inc. Robert Kenner, director; Robert Kenner, Elise Pearlstein, productores (Magnolia Pictures).

Mejor elenco: 
The Hurt Locker.

Director revelación: 
Robert Siegel por Big Fan.

Actor/Actriz revelación:

NOMINACIONES A LOS SATELLITE AWARDS

Nine, producción de The Weinstein Company basada en el musical de Broadway que contó con dirección de Rob Marshall y con Penélope Cruz, Marion Cotillard y Daniel Day-Lewis como protagonistas, lidera las preferencias a los Satellite Awards con 11 nominaciones, seguida por Red Cliff, épica histórica de John Woo, con 7 candidaturas.
