Quentin Tarantino terminó el rodaje de The Hateful Eight y avanza su venta internacional
-Tras las múltiples y desmedidas exigencias a los compradores, el nuevo film del director de Bastardos sin gloria ha sido adquirido para varios territorios.
-El estreno norteamericano será el 25 de diciembre sólo en 70mm.
-En Argentina la lanzará Diamond.

“Luego de la Guerra Civil Norteamericana, en Wyoming, una caravana con diversos personajes -que incluye a dos cazarrecompensas, un soldado confederado y una prisionera- es desviada a causa de un gran temporal de nieve. Sus miembros deberán aguardar a que pase el temporal. La tensión entre ellos no tardará en surgir...”. Esa es la sinopsis de The Hateful Eight, el esperado nuevo western de Tarantino.
Tras algunas delirantes exigencias por parte de The Weinstein Company, el film ha sido vendido para varios países: Universum la adquirió para Alemania; mientras que por estas horas se cierran acuerdos con Entertainment Film Distributors para el Reino Unido, Leone Film Group para Italy, SND M6 para Francia, eOne para Benelux y PVR para India.
El film fue presentado en noviembre último durante el American Film Market. Allí, TWC exigió precios impagables sólo con la lectura del guión y dejando espacio para un acuerdo general de los derechos de SVOD para Netflix. Ningún acuerdo se firmó. La batalla continuó en los mercados de Berlín y Cannes y -pese a las exigencias de Tarantino de que el film tenga un lanzamiento anticipado con copias en 70mm (algo que sólo se podrá realizar en los Estados Unidos, Francia y algunos países importantes más) ahora sí parece que está encontrando compradores.
La película con Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Walton Goggins, Demian Bichir, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen y Bruce Dern tendrá su estreno mundial en 70mm el 25 de diciembre próximo en los Estados Unidos y desde el 8 de enero tendrá en ese mercado su lanzamiento masivo en digital.
